Inferno

Fin has a secret; one that can not be shared.

He has an undying love for fire. He craves the heat and can only feel at peace when engulfed in flames. His skin never blisters or shows the slightest sign of discomfort when he sneaks off into the woods to feed his addiction. It only when the cold sets in that he feel an aching pain in his chest.

Fin can’t tell anyone though. Others, who were different like himself, have been burned alive when they were discovered.

A small part of him wants them to find out, just so he can find out what it's like to be surrounded by fire.

Polar Flux

It's cold, and Fin can't fight it.

Even after he escapes the frost, only ice lives inside the firebird. The inferno he wants is gone. It was stolen from the middle realm by the man whose flame he craves the most: Zoran, the third god of fire. After the loss of his kingdom, the god took back his gift to the mortals; fire.

They're all prisoners to the cold, and Fin can't take it. He wants to feel the blistering heat and once again be engulfed in flames. Only then will the aching pain in his chest stop.

He'd do anything, anything at all just to stop this polar flux.

To Catch a Breeze

The wind can be a subtle thing, until Jerric gets a hold of it.

He loves the rush of forming a tornado and blowing away anything that gets in his path. When encased in his wind tunnel, he lives for the power. He feels invincible. Jerric is a very talented shifter, too talented at times.

His winds have the signs of originating from the north, which worries his parents. Jerric secretly hopes so. He wants the norther god to offer him a place in his ranks. And with the his help, Jerric dreams of becoming the strongest wind shifter that will ever exist.

Powerful enough maybe to even dethrone the embarrassment know as the southern wind god, Notus. The sad thing is for the poor god, Jerric could.

Soil

Everything grows from the soil up, but Terrin is stuck in the mud.

The other earth shifters all create beautiful things, exotic flowers, trees taller than mountains, but Terrin just sits in the manure pit making sure the soil isn’t too acidic for cherry blossoms.

He hates it. He truly hates his life. After nearly three centuries of doing the exact same thing every day, he’s willing to do anything just to escape it.

So when the goddess’s kingdom is shook by an earthquake, and the garden wall crumbles, Terrin takes his chance, even though touching the ground of the outside world might very well kill him.
